Talented Miss
Fee $100
It's your time to shine! Show the judges your special talent in a two minute performance for your chance to win the National Talent award. One winner will be chosen from each age division.

Entry Guidelines: Registration, the Talent Optional Competition Emcee form and payment must be submitted prior to June 1, 2023. If you are using music, it must be submitted to info@usamericanmiss.com, in the correct format by June 1, 2023. Please bring a back-up flash drive of your music to nationals. ​

Casual Wear Model
Fee $100
Showcase your favorite casual outfit by modeling for the judges during the Casual Wear Modeling competition. One winner per age division will be chosen.

Cover Model
Fee $100
Every girl dreams of being on the cover of a magazine...and your dream just might come true. Submit your favorite professional photo you feel is worthy of being on the cover of a magazine. Two winners will be chosen (one from Nation 1 and one from Nation 2). These two lucky young ladies will have their pictures published on the inside front/back cover of our program book for Nationals!

Entry Guidelines: Registration, photos and payment must be submitted to the national office by May 1st, 2023. The winners will also receive a free 2023 National Program Book featuring their pictures. ​

Role Model
Fee $100
Love to be out in your community? Show the judges what you've been up to during your year (dates applicable from June 1, 2022 - May 31, 2023).
The Role Model competition allows for you to show the judges your community service activities and involvement, academic achievements and mentoring activities. One winner in Nation 1 and one winner in Nation 2 will be selected.

Entry guidelines: Registration and payment must be submitted to the national office by June 1st, 2023. Bring your scrapbook to Nationals Registration inclusive of a table of contents and summary page for the judges. The inside cover of your scrapbook should contain the Delegate Name and Division.

Photogenic
Fee $100
Are you photogenic? Now is your chance to shine through our National Photogenic competition. Submit your photo and be judged on overall look, confidence, and personality. One winner per age division will be chosen.

Entry guidelines: Registration and payment must be submitted to the national office by June 1st, 2023. Photos must be submitted by June 1, 2023 via the link provided in order to be judged prior to Nationals!​

State Costume
Fee $100
We want to see you represent your state. This optional competition allows you to not only be creative but hit the runway in style by showcasing what you believe is special about your state. Judging will be on creativity, uniqueness, stage personality and overall enthusiasm for your state. There will be two winners (one from Nation 1 and one from Nation 2).

Fitness Wear
Fee $125
Let's get physical! This is your chance to walk the runway in your favorite fitness or sportswear outfit! The Fitness Optional will be for delegates in Preteen division and up.
Your outfit guidelines are the following: 3/4 or full length black leggings, black or white sneakers and your sponsor shirt given to you at Nationals Registration.

USAM National Day of Service
Free
Participate in USAM's National Day of Service on May 30, 2023 to be awarded with a service pin at Nationals. Your form for USAM Day of Service must be submitted by June 1, 2023 in order to receive your day of service pin!
